The power mode of this engine including the voltage and frequency of a related electrification system. In case of independent power source like diesel the electrification reference is to be omitted.

Attributes:
- electrificationSystemRef: Reference to the used electrification system. The electrification system is defined in the common part of the railML document. (optional;
xs:IDREF ),
- isPrimaryMode: Flag, whether this is the primary mode of traction of the train (optional;
xs:boolean ),
- mode: Mode of traction related to the ElectrificationSystem.
Used for general classification, understanding, overview, filtering etc. (optional; xs:string ; patterns: other:w{2,}; consider Dev:UsingAny too.)
- Possible values:
- battery: uses energy exclusively from an on-board battery
- diesel: internal combustion engine
- electric
