Syntax

Autoexport from the XML-Schema for element IS:validForTrainMovement of railML® version 3.3
Documentation specify the train movement types for which the stopping place is valid (freight trains, passenger trains, ...)

Attributes:
  • type: definition of train movement type for which the stopping place is valid (optional; xs:string; patterns: other:w{2,})
Possible values:
  • allTrains
  • freightTrains
  • passengerTrains
  • shunting: Shunting, in railway operations, is the process of sorting items of rolling stock into complete trains, or the reverse. In the United States this activity is known as switching [Wikipedia].
*Notice:
Elements may have different parent elements. As a consequence they may be used in different contexts.
