Introduction
Milepost is a fixed marker placed along the railway line that shows a linear location on the route, helping train drivers, maintenance crews, and systems know their exact location.
Kilometer zero at Sargans station. The mileposts date back to a predecessor of the SBB, the United Swiss Railways (VSB), and are still valid today
