- orientation: orientation of the external icon or symbol with respect to its standard orientation (up) (optional;

- Possible values:
- left: icon or symbol turned 90 degrees left
- down: the icon or symbol is turned 180 degrees
- right: icon or symbol turned 90 degrees right
